Polyacrylamide

Essential information:
Polyacrylamide is a water-soluble organic high molecular weight polymer. Polyacrylamide has good flocculation, adsorption decolorization, resistance reduction, thickening and adhesion etc characteristics.

As a flocculant, polyacrylamide is widely used in municipal wastewater, industrial wastewater treatment, sludge dewatering, coal washing, beneficiation, oil exploitation, and drinking water treatment from rivers and lakes. The adsorption and decolorization properties of polyacrylamide are commonly used in the papermaking, printing and dyeing, textile and leather production industries.

usage method:
1.Polyacrylamide flocculants cannot be directly added to sewage. Before use, they must be dissolved in water and treated with their aqueous solution.
2.The water that dissolves the polymer should be tap water rather than sewage. Normal temperature water is sufficient, and generally does not require heating. When the water temperature is lower than 5 ºC, dissolution is slow, and when the water temperature increases, dissolution speed increases. However, when the water temperature is higher than 40 ºC, polymer degradation will be accelerated, affecting the use effect. Generally, tap water is suitable for preparing polymer solutions, while water with strong acids, strong alkalis, and high salt content is not suitable for preparing polymer solutions
3.The ratio of polymer solution concentration recommended by our factory is 0.1% to 0.3%, that is, adding 1-3 g of polymer powder to 1 L of water
