Polyacrylamide use and dosage

1. Polyacrylamide solid powder can not be directly used for sewage treatment. Before be used in water treatment, the polyacrylamide particles must be dissolved in tap water, then the aqueous solution is used to treat the sewage.

2. Dissolving the polyacrylamide PAM white particles into a 0.1%-0.3% aqueous solution (ie, adding 0.1 g-0.3 g of polyacrylamide particles to 100 ml of clean water). and stirring is continued for 30-40 minutes until the granules are completely dissolved.

3. When treating the sewage with polyacrylamide PAM aqueous solution, first add 1ml aqueous solution in 100ml sewage to see the sedimentation flocculation effect, and then reduce or increase the dosage as appropriate.

Polyacrylamide Applications

 

	As a flocculant, polyacrylamide is widely used in municipal wastewater, industrial wastewater treatment,and drinking water treatment from rivers and lakes. The adsorption and decolorization properties of polyacrylamide are commonly used in the papermaking, printing and dyeing, textile and leather production industries.
Polyacrylamide flocculant is widely used in petroleum industry, oil exploitation, drilling mud, waste mud treatment, prevention of waterlogging, reduction of frictional resistance and enhanced oil recovery. It can be used together with a variety of drilling fluid treatment agents,is a strong coating inhibitor for drilling fluid.
	Anionic polyacrylamide is mainly used in wastewater treatment in mineral selection, coal washing and metallurgy field. except these filed, it also be used in textile and papermaking industries, involving the separation of solid and liquid wastewater treatment.
As its excellent sedimentation character,polyacrylamide flocculant is widely used for sludge dewatering to decrease the water content rate of sludge or sewage. Generally, cationic polyacrylamide are firstly be considered for the sludge dehydrating. The use of polyacrylamide can greatly reduce the moisture content of the cake and shorten the sludge dewatering time.
