Sodium hexametaphosphate(SHMP)is an inorganic water-reducing agent commonly used in refractory materials. It has an auxiliary hardening effect on refractory materials at room temperature. It is characterized by fast hardening speed and high strength. It can also prevent shrinkage and cracking of refractory materials.
Sodium hexametaphosphate(SHMP) is also a dispersant in refractory materials. The added amount is 0.1 g per g of sample, which is equivalent to 10%.
