Polyacrylamide is a linear water-soluble polymer, and is one of the most widely used varieties of water-soluble polymer compounds. PAM and its derivatives can be used as efficient flocculants, thickeners, paper enhancers and liquid drag reducing agents, and Polyacrylamide are widely used in water treatment, paper making, petroleum, coal, mining, metallurgy, geology, textile, construction and other industrial sectors.

Uses

1.Purification of drinking water and domestic sewage.

2.Purification of industrial water, industrial waste water, mine, oil field back injection water, purification of water, gold, coal washing, leather and various chemical sewage treatment, etc.
3.Industrial applications: Paper Sizing, printing and dyeing, cement setting agent, precision casting hardener, refractory adhesive, glycerin refining, fabric crease-proof, medicine, cosmetics, etc, waste water can be recycled.
In the steel-making industry, it is used for the separation of waste water with good effect.
4. Polyacrylamide solid powder can not be directly used for sewage treatment. Before be used in water treatment, the polyacrylamide particles must be dissolved in tap water, then the aqueous solution is used to treat the sewage.
5. Dissolving the polyacrylamide PAM white particles into a 0.1%-0.3% aqueous solution (ie, adding 0.1 g-0.3 g of polyacrylamide particles to 100 ml of clean water). and stirring is continued for 30-40 minutes until the granules are completely dissolved.
6. When treating the sewage with polyacrylamide PAM aqueous solution, first add 1ml aqueous solution in 100ml sewage to see the sedimentation flocculation effect, and then reduce or increase the dosage as appropriate.

As a flocculant, polyacrylamide is widely used in municipal wastewater, industrial wastewater treatment, sludge dewatering, coal washing, beneficiation, oil exploitation, and drinking water treatment from rivers and lakes.
