It is a water-soluble phosphate chain condensation compound. It exists in two forms: Na5P3O10 (anhydrous) and Na5P3O10•6H2O (crystal). The specific gravity of Na5P3O10·6H2O is 2.12, the specific gravity of Na5P3O10 is 0.5-0.6, the melting point of both is 622°C. The aqueous solution of anhydrous Na5P3O10 is alkaline and can absorb moisture and hydrolyze to orthophosphate; it can emulsify, suspend and disperse mud and grease; it has a strong buffering effect, PH value is between 4.3-14 .



Application of 94% sodium tripolyphosphate

As a main synthetic detergent auxiliary, as a water softener, as a building foaming agent for detergents, as an emulsifier for fats and oils, as a peptizer for PH buffers, and to provide alkalinity.
