Sodium hexametaphosphate(SHMP)68% is a kind of sodium phosphate polymer, which is usually white powder crystal or transparent glass flake in appearance. It has strong gyroscopic property and will become sticky after gyroscopic.It is very easy to deliquescent in air and soluble in water with higher solubility and milder dissolution rate. Its aqueous solution is acid and easy to hydrolyze to phosphate. In addition, it has ability to form a soluble complex for some metal ions, so it can be used to soft water, as well as a wide range of uses in food processing and various industry fields.Use mainly as a softener and anti-corrosion agent for industrial water, diffusion agent of manufacture paper, bonding agent of blast-furnace refractory, conflation agent for ore-dressing, etc.  Food grade can be used as quality improper in beverage, milk products and can goods etc, as PH adjuster and as metal ion adhesive. It can help to protect color of food,  to emulsify fats in meat cans and to keep beer from muddling.
