Product Description


Potassium dihydrogen phosphate (chemical formula KH2PO4) is a compound fertilizer with high concentration of phosphorus and potassium, with P2O5 content of 52% and K20 content of 34%. Low hygroscopicity, good physical properties, easy to dissolve in water, 23g per 100 ml of water at 20ºC, and the aqueous solution is acidic.

[Nature] White granular crystal, soluble in water, slightly soluble in alcohol, insoluble in acetone. Stable in air, with a small amount of decomposition at 100 C. The relative density of the solid is 1.803(19°C) and the melting point is 190°C .. Loss of ammonia and water above the melting point produces a mixture of ammonium metaphosphate and phosphoric acid. The aqueous solution is acidic, and the PH value of 1% aqueous solution is 4.5.
[Purpose] It is mainly used as fire retardant for wood, paper and fabric, and also as additive of fire retardant coating and dry powder extinguishing agent. It is used as chlorine-free N, P binary high-efficiency compound fertilizer in agriculture, and its total nutrient is 73% (N+P2O5), which is a high-quality raw material for preparing N, P, K ternary compound fertilizer.
